Designed in Denmark, FatSlapz is made for drummers looking for that fat, dry and punchy drum sound – without choking the drum.

FatSlapz gives you the classic towel sound – without killing the tone of the drum. This is one of the key things that makes FatSlapz different.

You still get that short, fat and controlled sound, but with more low end, a more natural playing feel and enough movement to let the drum breathe.

Simply unfold it, place it on the drum and play.

When you don’t need it, pull it off and slap it onto the magnetic holder mounted on your drum hardware. Ready when you need it – out of the way when you don’t.

Folds and stays in shape

FatSlapz stays in shape thanks to its built-in spring steel hoop. This keeps it flat when placed on the drum and makes it easy to handle when you take it off.

But FatSlapz folds too.

Fold it down and its overall size is reduced substantially, making it easy to put into the included pouch and carry with the rest of your gear.

And because the hoop is designed to fold, you don’t have to worry about permanently bending or denting it during transportation.

Magnetic Holder Included

Also included is a small, green and surprisingly strong magnetic holder with a soft silicone rubber exterior.

Attach it anywhere on your kit where there is suitable metal – for example on a floor tom hoop or hi-hat stand.

The magnet has enough pull to securely grab FatSlapz when you need somewhere to put it between songs, while still making it easy to pull off again when you want it back on the drum.

Pull it off. Slap it on. Grab it again when you need it.

Tags to Grab

FatSlapz has two small fabric tags that make it easy to grab and lift it off the drum.

A small detail – but very useful when you want to change your sound quickly between songs.

Pouch for Easy Transportation

Also included is a soft carrying pouch for storing FatSlapz when it is not in use.

You can put the magnetic holder in there as well, but honestly, if you normally keep it attached to your drum hoop or hardware, it is probably easier just to leave it there.
