Beth Reverb Tomo Fujita, a world-renowned guitarist. Tomo Fujita, who is also known for teaching many guitarists at the Berklee College of Music's guitar department, captivates audiences with his diverse expressiveness regardless of genre, from funk and blues to rock and jazz. One Control has supported Tomo Fujita's playing for many years with the PRUSSIAN BLUE REVERB and BJF-S100 amplifiers. This project was started to create a reverb pedal that would further highlight the expressiveness of Fujita, who is active in all areas . In order to realize Fujita's specific ideas for reverb effects and the details of the design, we created and adjusted prototypes. This is how Tomo Fujita's signature reverb pedal "Beth Reverb" was completed. "Beth Reverb" adds a new reverb effect to PRUSSIAN BLUE REVERB, and you can switch between two types of reverb with a foot switch. Therefore, even if you want different reverbs depending on the song, you can complete it with just one "Beth Reverb". "Beth Reverb" includes reverb a and b, and reverb a contains the sound of PRUSSIAN BLUE REVERB, which Mr. Fujita has been using for a long time. This reverb effect is designed to achieve the ideal reverb tone, which will further demonstrate the potential of your instrument when used with it always turned on. By randomly modulating the decay time, it is a mono effect that creates a sound that spreads spatially, and has a wide dynamic range as a reverb effect, making it sound like you are listening in a special seat in a space created with ideal reverberation in mind. Reverb b is a more powerful and deep reverb based on the plate reverb sound known as a natural reverb tone. It is a reverb effect that softly envelops your performance, allowing you to express a fantastic space or play with a more emphasized reverb sound. Reverb b also slightly reinforces the original sound. It can be used all the time and can be used as the basic sound of the instrument. Reverb a is combined with the powerful and fantastical reverb b. By switching between them depending on the song, we have created a reverb pedal that can be used for a wide range of genres and playing styles.
・decay: Adjusts the length of the reverb.
・tone: Adjusts the brightness of the reverb effect.
・level: Adjusts the volume of the reverb effect.
・decay: Adjusts the length of the reverb.
・intensisy: Adjusts the strength of the reverb effect.
・level: Adjusts the volume of the reverb effect.
on/off: Switches the effect ON/OFF.
a/b: Selects the reverb sound. Can also be used when the effect is OFF.
If you switch the reverb with the a/b switch while the effect is ON, the reverb effect will be muted for about 1 second to avoid noise and sound mixing. Similarly, when you switch from effect OFF to effect ON, the reverb sound will be muted for about 1 second from effect ON to prevent noise from mixing into the reverb sound. It does not affect the original sound.
The Beth Reverb is powered by a standard center negative DC9V adapter.

Comment from Tomo Fujita
I've always used the reverb from my amp, but the depth and tone vary depending on the amp, so I was looking for a good reverb pedal. That's when I came across the One Control PRUSSIAN BLUE REVERB. This reverb pedal is compact, but the sound quality is great, and I like its simple functions and ease of use.
My playing style ranges from fast funk cutting to slow blues and mellow original songs, so I wanted a reverb with a longer decay like a plate reverb for slow songs. That's when the idea for this reverb pedal came to me, and after making adjustments with One Control, I finally completed my ideal reverb pedal, the "Beth Reverb". To be honest, it's the best! I've never had a reverb pedal that was this easy to use, so I find it very useful.
