Straight outta Iwate Prefecture, our new An Butter Coppe Drive (ABCD!) celebrates a local bakery Fukuda Pan, founded in 1948.

This is a very popular style of bread in this area of Japan, and we have designed this pedal as the “Koppe-pan”, with butter sandwiched in between the Fukuda Pan.

Tasty, toneful, and delicious! This drive pedal is a wonderful way to layer some additional thickness and sweetness to your sound.

It has a very open dynamic range and can be an almost transparent boost when needed.

Use the tone knob to dial in your high end for a wide variety of amplifiers. Once you start adding more gain to the mix, the distortion will get richer with more complex midrange content and feel – making those lead licks melt off your fingers like butter.

This pedal has limited edition artwork celebrating Fukuda Pan, and like all Effects Bakery products is mixed with love using only the finest hardware and construction.
